When asked about why she wanted to get involved with The Big Hare Trail Ali said “I first saw the hares when they were being unloaded onto Elcho Green for the promotional pictures. I had been for an early morning swim and it was the friends who were with me who encouraged me to submit a design. I didn’t for one moment expect to be successful so I was hugely overwhelmed and honoured when my design was chosen. Also as a person living with Parkinson’s disease I can’t begin to explain how special designing a hare for Leuchie House has been.

I really wanted my design to reflect not just how degenerative neurological diseases affect the individuals who suffer from them but also to be a celebration of Leuchie’s 10 years of success as an independent charity. It is proving to be an amazing experience being able to put the design onto the hare!”

And the night starts off with LOT number 1 ‘Hare Brained’ by @aliblevinsart and sponsored by Charles River @charlesriverlabs

And it’s SOLD for £5,500 !!!!
